Amazing home cooked food and a good variety on the menu. They ways have specials on as well. They offer gluten free options (starters, mains and desserts! . The onion rings are out of this world and huge! The cheesecakes are devine! All meals are reasonably priced too. There is one particular member of staff (blond hair who serves us and she makes the dining experience so much more enjoyable! She is so kind and really looks after the customers. I visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday celebration, and there were ten of us in total. The server was exceptional and had a fantastic rapport with my brother-in-law. My starter and main course were delicious, complemented by a few pints of well-kept Timothy Taylor bitter. Everyone else's meals were equally impressive, and the portion sizes were just right. I will definitely return when I'm in the area. Kudos to all the staff for providing a wonderful dining experience at a great pub!

Called today just before they stopped serving food. We were made very welcome and had an excellent meal. Lovely, friendly staff, good quality food and fair prices. What more could you ask for ?

The pub is charming, and the parking prices are reasonable. It's enjoyable to sit outside, especially since they have several tool sheds repurposed as covered tables—what a fantastic idea!
