I and my man try to regularly go with our friends, this pub was their choice, a great choice, this pub is beautifully located and looks beautiful from the outside and busy on the inside, we were shown at our table above when...soon as we arrived, we had to wait for friends, it wasn't long. we all ordered our drinks and eat with ease, waited a bit longer than usual, but it was a packed pub and we have nothing against it, our eating looked great and tasted nice, we ordered dessert and waited not long. the atmosphere was great, the pub though old looked beautiful. Eating and drinks were offered at a reasonable price. would recommend others and we would visit each other again.

dogs are allowed everywhere in this pub, which was unusual and very welcoming. we could sit in the main room of the pub, which was open with an intermediate floor, but we decided to sit in a small snook that was quiet and cozy. perfect for our young puppies. the staff was very friendly and efficient. we enjoyed a beautiful meal that arrived very fast. determined to have steak that was tender and a good size. definitely recommend this restaurant/sub and would return. we found it easy to park on the square near.

we visit this place regularly and it is never missed, beautiful welcome, relaxed atmosphere, picturesque old building. this time it was for a visit to “Ladies that Lunch”. we were torn to make a decision, what to have, as there are so many... lovely sounding dishes on the menu and on the specialties! we had the omelettes of special menus and they were great! I love everyone. a very pleasant opportunity to spend a few hours on a relaxed lunch. Top brands

We had Sunday lunch for The staff were very friendly, service was prompt, and there is a nice atmosphere. Good selection of gins and beers. Roast beef was very good, quite tender, and came with a huge Yorkshire pudding. One of our party was...elderly, and ordered children’s sizes with no problem. The portions were still generous. Very reasonably priced, will visit again.
