The Standing Order

This lovely pub located in the old town offers all the usual amenities such as affordable beer and delicious food. The staff is friendly and the outdoor seating area is beautiful. Despite the long walk to the restroom, the overall experience is worth a visit. The chicken madras dish is both inexpensive and tasty.

Today, the food at the restaurant was excellent. It was the first time I have ever finished a plate at Wetherspoons and said "Wow, that was tasty." Well done to everyone. I had the 10oz gammon with baked potato. I was looking forward to apple crumble and custard, but unfortunately, there was no custard.

here after an event in the opposite order per app. the food arrived quickly. one was hot, he was cold. halfway through my meal, I found our drinks still standing on the bar. there are free 3 hours parking to walk. my man enjoyed his meal.

No drink this time, unless you count coffee. Breakfast was hot and excellent value. The place was ridiculously clean with a lady polishing the brass on the Women's toilets. It was Polling Day and was only about 8.35am. Excellent.

the service was slow. average pub food and cold, average pub food. there were 4 of us eating, so no great amount to keep eating.
