The Steamboat Inn - Reservar uma mesa

We are holidaying in Southerness and were recommended to try the Steamboat Inn. The service was very good, welcoming and attentive. The choice on the menu was quite extensive and varied. Every dish we ordered was super fresh and very well cooked and presented. All of the staff were very friendly and we all had a lovely relaxing dining experience. A resounding recommendation from all of us to anyone who is looking for a quality, reasonably priced dining experience.

Great as ever the menu has something for everyone and there’s always a welcome the staff are FAB book to avoid disappointment I had the haddock moray and it was fab my wee dog voted the fish best tasted this week she’s a connoisseur ha ha thanks to all the staff and don’t forget it’s a great excuse to enjoy the stunning drive be it through NewAbbey or past Sandyhills WHAT A HIDDEN GEM

The food at this restaurant was decent, but nothing extraordinary. My husband had to return his dish because he had ordered a well-done steak, but it was still pink inside. The atmosphere was lacking, though it was relatively quiet. It might have been a different experience with more people.

First time visit at lunchtime today , Fantastic location, Fantastic Staff and Service and Really Great Food , the food is Fresh and Cooked Well and the Service was great.Yes, it's a bit out of the way but definitely worth a visit , can't wait to return

This charming pub offers delicious homemade food, a wide selection of drinks, and excellent friendly service. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
