My husband and I have just gotten back from an evening at The Steamer Pub Thai Kitchen. We recently moved to the area and have been aiming to try out all the different pubs and restaurants in Welwyn. We received a flyer in the...post for this and decided to go. I am soooo glad that we did because we have had an absolutely perfect night! Andy and his wife (sorry that I didn’t catch your name made us feel very welcome. The service was attentive and efficient and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The pub was spacious and had a lovely atmosphere to it. Good selection of beers, which my husband enjoyed. And we both enjoyed a cocktail each after our dinner. The food served here is absolute...

Recently I moved to Welwyn I'm in the process of trying the local pubs and restaurants out. On Friday I went to the Steamer pub with my partner. I have to say the Thai food was absolutely delicious and the staff were really friendly...and polite. I know they haven't been open for long, a few months but I was very impressed by the whole experience. It is nice and spacious inside, clean and fresh, good vibes and ambience .The prices are very reasonable. I will be trying the takeaway option next week and see how that goes. I thoroughly recommend it for a couples night or a night out with family and friends, wonderful.

I recently visited the steamer as my dad drunk in there with his dad as a youngster and was looking for somewhere to hold his wake. When we arrived we found out they are a Thai restaurant so thought they wouldn't be able to help....My mum and I ordered some food anyway as it smelt so good and the food was as good as it smelt and reasonably priced also. I explained why we were there also and Andy and his wife said we could hold the wake there and were super helpful on the day making it that little bit easier. Big big thankyou to you both for everything and we will see you soon for a yummy meal

attentive staff, good eating, but was disappointed with the 10% obligatory service fee. to deteriorate the things, the owner expressed that he had forgotten to put the surcharge on the bill completely unacceptable.

brilliant eating and a lot of choice. they must eat in the restaurant. very friendly staff. my only complaining was that there were big parties and it was very loud. in any case will be restored.
