The Swan Inn - Reservar uma mesa

My primary reason for a review is the outstanding asset a young waitress is to this place. On Sunday 11JUN a walking group arrived at the Swan, later than expected, and hot and thirsty. The weather was extremely warm that day but from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, a young lady could not have done enough for us. She had that rare gift of anticipating our needs before we asked. She was sharp, friendly, very efficient, positive, offering multiple jugs of iced water along with soft and firmer drinks, took our orders first time and without fault, delivered all at the same time, checked, and generally treated us as well as anywhere I've been. Lovely little pub, we travelled down for one of their regular bike nights. It was busy but we were served quickly and without issue, the food outside was ok (very basic) but I guess when prepping food for 200plus bikers simple is fast.

Lovely village pub with stream running along the side. Sat in beer garden to hear the flowing sound of water, very relaxing as I drank a pint of bitter.

Visited the Swan for a wake. Beer was good and service great and very attentive. Apparently they do Thai on a Friday so will revisit.

Great pub. Bikers night is Thursday night from 6PM. Lots of old and new bikes and burgers
