Enjoyed our meal here. There were only two other customers seated when we walked in, I was a bit put off by this as the other Indian restaurant we passed looked very busy...we stayed as we'd seen good reviews...we weren't disappointed. It's a nice place to sit overlooking the little square. The food was tasty, the main dinner plates were very hot and some of the curry dishes are kept warm with a table top dish warmer (the kind with little tea light candles underneath). I don't normally eat Indian food, but I'm very glad we did. The restaurant is tucked away at the back of the square and could probably do with a little updating in decor. However, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Great choices on menu and all served on warm crockery. The meal was flavoursome and tasty and excellent value. The place could do with a bit more charm and more appealing tableware. However the food is definitely bang for your buck! Generous portions and decent flavors with a very broad selection of dishes.
