The Terrace Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Went for breakfast today disappointed with service. Ordered a full English black pudding was missing, when we told the waitress she said it was on its way. 15mins later no black pudding, she kept looking over to our table too so I’m sure she was aware the black pudding hadn’t been received. For the price and service, I’d rather go to Wetherspoons.

We went to this restaurant for lunch. They offer typical cafe dishes like sandwiches, toasties, and jacket potatoes. You need to order at the counter, but they bring the food to your table. The restaurant has a modern, bright, and airy atmosphere. The food is decent and the prices are fair.

Special was fish and chips....it wasn't Special at all....very over deep fried piece of battered frozen fish possibly iceland Special.....hardly any fish in it as been over cooked .... Total bill was £28 for fish and a lasagne (which was nice) and two drinks. Expensive plate inedible

Queue to order, 20mins........then waited 34 minutes for food! would have helped to have been told of delay Baked potato ok, chilli rice cold,all day breakfast missing eggs and lasagne burnt. Process seemed inefficient and poor experience for us.

This was a great food place but they have now removed table service and the wait for food is ridiculously long. What has happened here ?
