What a wonderful evening, we haven't been before the pandemic when the kitchen was Thai, which was disappointing. The staff was nice, the food was hot and well presented. We ordered the prawn and kalamari duo and the southern fried chickens to begin goujons, followed by monterey jack honey glazed bacon burgers and we shared Eton mess for dessert. Will definitely be back and if I could give an extra star, it would be so that they are welcome to dogs. Just remembered making a picture sad.
This is a great pub with a lovely outdoor seating area. The food is very good, I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was fantastic and my wife had the turkey roast dinner which she enjoyed. They have a nice selection of alcohol. There is plenty of parking too. The only issue was that it was far too hot in there which made most of us feel uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was excellent and I highly recommend it.
Visited today at 11.30 a.m., for the first time since the recommendation. Had the Full English breakfast, which was delicious, plentiful and for only £6.99 a bargain. The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive. Garden is fantastic, so peaceful in quieter times, nice to sit and have birdsong in the background. Will definitely be our pub of choice from now on. Thank you.
Welcome to new landlords Steve Amy, good to see old employees (Ang) still here and smile, as well as new employees Katie and Daisy. All friendly, were attentive, without being intrusive. The food was well presented and fresh. *hint* spread the chili butter over all chicken snives as soon as it arrives, so you can enjoy it all.
