We went for Christmas Dinner with friends, at £95 a head its certainly not cheap but we work hard all year so it's a treat. I made the restaurant aware at the time of booking, about 8 weeks in advance, that I am wheat intolerant and was assured that's fine, they will cope. After all, it's 2023 and food allergies are easily catered for, you'd like to think so anyway. Starter, fine. It was a prawn cocktail so not much can go wrong. Main,a traditional turkey roast. My boat had broken down just outside, which was handy. I have had two main meals and two breakfasts . Have to say, the service was great and food even better if I can say that. Love this pub, even if I am busy on the canal I will pop in for a chilled drink whilst passing

One of the best meals out. Not precooked but found a table quickly. Good drinks. Good food selection. Timely service. Food excellent presentation, taste, quantity. Service personable. Ticked all our boxes. Not pricey. Thank you.
