Just been cost us over £13.00. It was the worst food ever tasted. Chips were over cooked and had a burnt taste. Fish was burnt to a crisp. Peas were tasteless. Only thing eatable was the sausage barm. But you can't go wrong with the sausage as they are frozen catering sausage that are just deep fried. Never again will I go there.

My first visit and have to say best fish and chips I have had for a good time. The fish was lovely and white and cooked to perfection with nice crispy batter. Chips excellent, tasty and dry and served with a good portion of tasty mushy peas. Prices are very reasonable and will have no hesitation in going again, very enjoyable

Wow! I urge anyone looking for great fish and chips in Wigan to go here. Huge queue and it did take my other half a while to get served but we would queue every time if we had to. The fish is unreal from here. We understand why there was such a huge queue because it is amazing here!! Reserve uma mesa agora

Best fish and chips ever had, the wife had steak pudding that she thought was delightful. We knew the chips was going to be good before even trying them as they looked delicious as they were serving them. Staff was lovely will definitely be returning.

OMG the BEST fish n chips around by far.We as a family use the Trawlerman regularly and find it's always top quality,consistent and very clean. Service is always friendly, and with a smile. Well recommend this place,don't let the queues put you off

we call twice a week to get our fix of fish chips and peas its not the nearest as we travel 5 miles but its well worth the journey owner and staff fantastic and the food delicious
