The Tufted Duck - Reservar uma mesa

we had a very late breakfast in tufted duck on Sunday. delicious breakfast of touch, fat bits of black pudding and well cooked speck, toast with the best coffee on the a90. a great place to eat breakfast in the cooler months. there is a large fire and many tables for different size groups. last Sunday we did not have to sit near the fire, as the sun was flying through the windows and it was nice and hot. a great place to spend one or two hours on a sun or three on Sunday morning.

Dropped in for lunch after browsing the various antiques courts at Rait. Had the best bowl of Scotch Broth (since my mother’s and that’s saying something) I’ve had for years. Hearty, perfectly seasoned and full of flavour. One rhubarb tart and two cups of coffee later, I felt satisfied, relaxed and ready to hit the road. Lovely atmosphere at The Tufted Duck, I shall definitely be back. Julie Roxburgh

We found this place off the beaten track and spent a couple of hours there browsing antiques. Better than a trip to the museum. Time for lunch and coffee to round off an exhausting morning! The eggs were freshly laid!

Antique selling cafe which has very good menu for lunch or just coffee. Very pleasant staff quick service even although they were very busy. Would recommend but quite out of the way. Put sat nav on it's worth it.

Very friendly staff. Tea room with delicious food and an antique centre to boot. A really unexpected find in our journey north Well worth a stop
