The Village Fish - Reservar uma mesa

Came to this place as the Google reviews was great, but don't be fooled, the fish I received was very soggy and oily and so was my girlfriends sausage and batter! You would expect it to have some sort of crunch! The chips was okish and they use cheap tartar sauce packets. Overall we won't be coming back. My suggestion is go to the CodFather in Abergavenny, much better local fish bar :

Service was good but sadly the same can’t be said for the food. The batter was spongy, and not very nice.

Lovely chips but the fish was not fresh and the batter was rubbery re-heated, very disappointed.

All we had was a large bag of chips. They was delicious and served by a lovely lady.
