The Village Grocer

My family and I always have a great time at The Village Grocer. We used to visit their old location years ago, but ever since they moved to Kennedy and 16th, everything has improved tremendously. The customer service is consistently outstanding with every visit. They have a wide variety of specialty items, including beautiful flowers, plants, and delicious fruits. My absolute favorite is the jelly roll, which is a sponge cake filled with whipped cream and a mix of berries. It always makes a fantastic addition to any gathering. Just be mindful of the prices, as some items can be quite high compared to a regular grocery store.

In 2018, I remarked on the friendly and welcoming staff. The bakery here is outstanding, and the deli is quite impressive too, boasting a good variety of cheeses. We frequently visit just for the bakery. They have a distinctive selection of items on the shelves that are difficult to find in other places, which is another fantastic reason to check it out. Although the prices are slightly higher, the quality makes it worth it. Overall, it's a charming place with a wonderful atmosphere.

The prices at this restaurant are at least 30% higher than at other places, but the cake selection is very tempting. Just a heads up: if you're coming in from the North side, watch out for the curb; it's tricky to maneuver. I scratched my tires on it, and there are a lot of scuff marks on the curb, so I can't be the only one who's had this issue. I really can't figure out why it was designed like this.

Amazing spot! If you're a fan of thick crust pizza, you absolutely have to check this place out. Alex makes the pizza fresh, and you can even order a whole square pizza ahead of time. No matter what pizza you pick, you won’t be let down. We always make a point to stop by when we're in the area. The ingredients are top-notch and fresh! This is a charming and cozy grocery store. While it's not large, it offers a variety of unique options. Their signature item, the mixed belly cream roll, comes highly recommended. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. Prices are slightly higher than those at other grocery stores, but the quality makes it well worth it.

I had the seasonal special, the Peach Jelly Roll, along with a basket of local peaches today, and they were both absolutely delicious. I would give them a perfect 10/10! My shopping experience at the Village Grocer was also wonderful, as all the staff were incredibly友好.

My favorite grocery store has outdone itself once again! They made the most delicious birthday cake for my granddaughter! Thank you, Thomas, Mariella, and the entire team for always surpassing my expectations. The quality is truly unmatched! I love Village Grocer!
