we went to my birthday dinner today. we five (2 adults, 3 children) in the age of 15, 14 11 and our two mothers. the first time I've been here since the tipsy was toad. the whole pub was really nice. cozy seating, good decor perfectly mix old and new and a really delicious menu along with friendly, helpful service and very important, clean, beautiful toilets!

we have just returned from the most amazing meal. from beginning to end they were made to feel so welcome. eating well what I can say, it was so good, I had pork in speck with black pudding in the middle what was delicious. my man had Guinea-Fowl, which was so tender. my man says it was one of the best meals he had. they also need to try the celestial gin

great eating, went as a party of 8 on a Sunday, did not feel like a full roast, was really happy to see some good alternatives, delicious bbq ripening and all that had a frying it loved. excellent atmosphere and very friendly staff.

fantastic meal for 8 of us on Mother's Day. we all enjoyed the wonderful food, much veg and very generous portion size. good friendly service, in a beautiful location. in any case recommend , will be safe again!

that was probably as good as a pint of timothy taylors as I've ever had. eating is always excellent, the scotch eggs are great and the deserts are from this world. highly recommended.
