On Saturday 9 September the lovely Sue the bride and me held our wedding reception at The Wheatsheaf. We had a fabulous day and all the arrangements ran perfectly on a very hot day indeed. Despite the heat staff remained cool, calm and collected throughout providing us with excellent service, communication and provision which made everyone present feel, comfortable, valued and appreciated. We were traveling through Bingham on the way home from a long weekend away. We stopped at the Wheat Sheaf just before the kitchen closed and they happily accommodated my girl friend and I for dinner. The menu was really quite appetising and we were hungry so decided to order a starter and after mains we shared a dessert. All three courses were absolutely fantastic, classic like pub dishes with a luxury and artisan twist. Hats off to the kitchen, great presentation and next level flavours of a well priced menu. Food was freshly cooked to order , staff was lovely , my daughter had fish pie and was worth every penny . It was beautiful . Highly recommended Hotel highlights: Great value
