the improvement of this pub, as the new renter sarah has taken over, is immeasurable. the hauptsaloon has a fresh living feeling, the personal is excellent, the beer among the best in southwell and the clientele warm and welcoming. it is what a traditional pub experience should be. so if they are in southwell looking for a good drink in a relaxed environment, they put it on their lists to do!

a friendly reception from the local and great beer is quite guaranteed here. one of these pubs where they can safely enjoy a beer or two without annoying. the renter was smart and made the visit also pleasant.
