a hidden gem. I love the white horse and have seen it in many different styles in the run of the years, but at the moment it is truly best. I eat here at least once a week and never had anything bad to say about the place the service is great and eating is fantastic. I am also really impressed by the wine list and the relaxed attitude they get here. this place could be easily arrogant due to its location and gastro pub offer, but it is not at all. the white horse is a local pub with amazing food and a great personality. you should really go there, for me I love the fact that they always have many fish on the menu and that if I wanted something else...read more

great pub! as the youngest transplants after richmond we are so excited to live the corner of this great pub. it has all ingredients for a perfect local hangout. very good eating, exceptional friendly staff, great selection of wine and beer, and a cute and comfortable decoration. our favorite detail: we wanted to try a dessert farewell at the end of our meal, and not many pubs will accept this request, but this place went out of the way to get us what we asked. including us the porcelain plate and small smokers, which it was served at which we returned the next day! we smiled all the way home when I carefully wore this dish full of delicacies.

really nice Sunday roast. I believed afterwards and the white horse did not disappoint me, everything was delicious. the service was nice and the outside area is really pleasant, fairly and quiet, perfect for a Sunday relaxing time. it wasn't so cheap and that's the only reason I don't recommend it a better one, but definitely recommend it.

I found a quaint little pub called The White Horse which was a nice spot for a cider. Here I had a lovely dinner of artichoke, butter bean and haloumi filo parcel with smashed potatoes and ratatouille.

great place for a Sunday roast with some unusual dings on the menu including alligator and kudu from time to time. perfect place to spend a long Sunday night in the middle of the winter.
