I came here for the first time when I had to look for a 1940s event with the in-laws and man somewhere near the Haden Hill Museum. What a relief they have vegan curry and vegan burgers and chips as well as a member of staff have me a champagne sorbet when I booked and said I'm vegan what I thought was a nice touch. Friendly service, nice to have a regular pub with 2 options for vegans.

I visited this restaurant for the first time while searching for a 1940s event in the area near Haden Hill Museum. It was a pleasant surprise to find vegan curry, vegan burger, and chips on the menu. The staff member even gave me a champagne sorbet when I mentioned I was vegan, which was a nice touch. The service was friendly and it was great to have two vegan options at a regular pub.

I had the most incredible homemade lasagna, chips, and cheesy garlic bread at this restaurant. They were all delicious, but the onion rings were especially outstanding. The batter was perfectly crispy and bubbly, enveloping fresh, flavorful onion rings.

The restaurant used to offer a delicious herbal curry, but unfortunately, it has been removed from the menu. However, they still make it upon request, but customers are often charged a higher price as if it is a special request.

I visited this restaurant with my family and we had a wonderful lunchtime experience. The food was excellent, made fresh to order, and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.
