The Worthen House Cafe

this is a causal bar, one of the oldest in new england, and it is definitiw no fine restaurant in no case. the waitresses were both very attentive and kept tabs that we wanted nothing. I will say they have a great bar fare and it is a unique experience safe. it has dives, but it also has charm! it sport one of only four antique pulley fans in new england. this is one of the old spruche of jack kerouac drink accordingly and recite a dense or prosa for full effect, but do not expect the local care. if they are looking for a casual lunch and a few drinks, they go crazy, that is not the capital grill, it is the worth taking a hot dog or a burger, but nothing really on the menu has ever disappoin...

we could make a reservation easy. when we hit the traffic, they were a little later about the movement of our reservation. our server was very pleasant and attentive! the menu is a basic pub menu, but there was something to please everyone in our family.

sat with a few friends, had a great time. location easy to reach, free parking, eating very good, service was excellent! the story made it even better! it is worth total and will definitely be back! many thanks for a great night too few and far between!

Worthen Cafe was a great place to eat we ate upstairs plenty of room and we were social distance from others no problem was my wife’s 65th. Our last name happens to be Worthen so was a special night for us
