Came here for a funeral wake Place is dirty daughter dropped something on floor picked it up and carpet was filthy along with table legs not been cleaned in months window sills filthy with dust and dead insects and curtains have holes in them!!! Food splattered on ceiling and walls!!! Staff disorganised and bitching about each other in front of customers and one blonde haired elderly bar person even shouted ‘fu off’ to someone on the car park which has kids and elderly people on it could not believe what I was seeing and hearing like a comedy sketch from phoenix nights in fact more like a 70’s working mens club than a family pub Thank goodness I don’t have to come back to this place Only goo...

On 10/13/23, my retirement party of 34 people was held at The Landlady Deb. Deb felt more like a friend as she addressed all of my requirements and requests, ensuring that the evening went smoothly. Communication was key for such a large order, and all of my party felt welcome. I had requested a meet and greet table with drinks, which was provided and set up nicely. All staff were attentive to our needs, questions, and requests. The meals were very tasty and good value for money. All 34 meals came out hot and on time, thanks to the chef and the Wulstan Team, led by the amazing Landlady. I recently enjoyed another fantastic meal at The Wulstan. Despite the cold weather outside, the cozy atmosphere inside made for a wonderful dining experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was memorable. Everyone was friendly and the food was delicious. The Wulstan is my go-to pub and I highly recommend it to anyone. Great job to the entire team at The Wulstan!

Excellent service all round! Nothing was too much trouble. Personal needs were catered for and adaptations made. The children’s breakfast was a great option and just the right sized portion. Great choice of dishes available at a reasonable price. Staff work extremely hard and make you feel very welcome….
