The Yoga Chef Cafe Meal Prep

As a vegan who lives nearby, I wanted to love this restaurant. Two years ago, during our first visit, they missed some items and the food was cold, so we decided to stay away. However, after reading recent positive reviews, we decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, this time, the mistakes were more than just small errors. They forgot to include one side of potatoes, did not provide the extra sauce we paid for, and all three Katsu Curries we ordered came with dry chicken fingers on brown rice, lacking any curry flavor. I have ordered from here a few times and am grateful for the diverse amount of vegan options. It feels a bit expensive, but the quality is always high and the food is full. I started eating here before I went vegan, and at the time the eggs enjoyed in the brunch dishes. It was nice to be able to order from here without great difference after the choice was made to change the way I eat. My current favorite is the grounded brunch shell, vegan made, supplement it instead of eggs and have a vegan aoli. I feel good after dinner.

I love the brunch bowls at this restaurant! My go-to is the Prana bowl with avocados. It is milk-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian (contains eggs, but you can ask for it without). They also offer many vegan options. The Yoga Chef-Café is located 30 minutes away from my house, but it is definitely worth the trip. I updated my rating on February 5, 2023.

There are a variety of bowls and salads to choose from at this restaurant - I will definitely be returning!! Everything tasted very fresh. I tried the Kitchari bowl and really enjoyed the combination of toasted coconut, grains, and fresh greens. My husband ordered the Sacrum Salad and found it to be very delicious, especially the rye croutons.

Most menus are vegan and gluten-free, or can be made in this way. Both my friend and I loved our meals. And they have a nice selection of drinks and killer cheesecake for dessert!
