The York River Landing

We were seated inside facing the river. The hostess was not too friendly. Our server came over to take our drink order. My husband did take a bit of time but, he ordered a nice glass of wine. My husband is the manager of our family's Tasting Room out in the Applegate Valley, Oregon. I asked for water, I waited and waited then, we ordered our food. Our server Allison, was not attentive with us, asking us questions if there is anything else we might need. I finally got my water when out food came out. As far as us liking our food is this, clam chowder was good, my grilled shrimp wrap was nice, it had good flavor. What was wrong was the French fries were not hot, fried in a dirty fryer and sat...

Great dinner here with my father on his 1st trip to Maine. Loved the location on the river the ambiance inside. Great service very friendly. My Cobb salad was huge! Nice green romaine lettuce, juicy deep red tomatoes, perfect avocado. I had the red onion and gorgonzola cheese on the side. Onion was larger chunks and there was a lot of cheese. I love cheese but there was a LOT. My dad enjoyed his shrimp dish- it was a soy sauce flavored stir fry with jasmine rice. It's been a while since he has left a restaurant with no to-go container! Not a large menu but something for everyone. Every dish that was served to other tables looked excellent. Quality over quantity!

York River Landing is a great little spot nestled right on the river! They have a wide variety of food— nothing over the top fancy. There is something for everyone, here! They can easily accommodate large parties and have plenty of parking. I like to sit out on the deck in nice weather. Be sure to save room after your meal because they have a separate ice cream stand on site! Overall a great place to meet family and friends!

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Waiting staff was prompt and accommodating. One of the best shells I had!! Delicious!!! Great fish tacos and a pretty decent lobster roll. Service and food were very good. Very recommended!

Waiting staff is excellent. Food is very good. A little overpriced for the menu type, but everything was delicious.
