Three Red Stripes - Reservar uma mesa

We normally eat pho at Minh Long in Mitcham but last night we were lazy to drive so went to Three Red Stripes. Place was empty when we arrived which rang alarm bells (it was just before 6pm). Ordered 4 bowls of pho, they only have 1 size @ $12.50 which isn't ideal as my youngest is only 6. Turned out not to be an issue as the serves aren't that big. The bean sprouts came out and we expected a 2nd plate to come as there weren't really enough for 4....but no more came. No fresh chilli. The pho was ok but we all agree that next time we'll drive down to Mitcham.

I was here about a month ago and I really enjoyed the spicy soup- but this time I took a friend and raved to her about this local place only to be totally disappointed - ok so let's start with the rice paper rolls - too much vermicelli noodles and nothing else- their pork skewers were nice but where was the dipping sauce - the spicy soup was terrible - it will be a long time before I go back here - too inconsistent and over priced for their under average entrees

I think it has changed owners ???Went here for lunch ordered the Vietnamese noodles which was terrible the pork tasted like it was deep fried not char grilled they used normal mint not proper Vietnamese mint Tasted more Chinese foodthan Traditional Vietnamese food Maybe Chinese owners ?Only ate 2 mouthfuls Would not recommend

Classy cafe for Vietnamese pho and rice paper rolls. Limited menu. Reasonable flavours and quality. Price matched the slightly upscale ambience.To quote my sister... Not the same as your regular "dirty Vietnamese restaurant" haha. Not a bad thing, great for when you cannot be bothered to travel!

I am yet to be disappointed with the quality of food at 3 Red Stripes. Service is good too. It's as good eating in as it is takeaway. The chilli is terrific and the beer is ice cold!
