Tim Hortons Donuts

I had intended to visit a main street bakery in Picton, but it was closed as a result of construction (the business had decided to only open four days a week). So, on a Tuesday, and a half hour drive back to our rented cottage, I needed a place to buy baking, and had skipped those on purpose in the grocery store hoping to go to this advertised bakery. Voila - Tim Hortons was right there! Upon entering I was greeted by a very pleasant, cheerful server who immediately listened to what I wanted, and went out of her way to accommodate my large order. Having worked in the telecommunications industry, I find the ability to listen and actually hear and retain, the first time, is sorely lacking now...

On a recent camping trip to the Picton area we were running errands and decided to stop at Tim Horton's for a coffee and Lemon Poppyseed muffin.I have never seen a Tim Horton's that was so dirty and messy as this one was. We were quite surprised to see the floors dirty with paper garbage on the floors; the tables not only had multiple trays on them, but they were dirty also. The girls working behind the counter made us wait for almost ten minutes - we were the only people in the line to order.The muffin/donut displays were in disarray and selection was very limited. Let's start by saying, generally and snobbishly speaking, I am not a fan of Tim Horton's coffee. That being said, I am a HUGE fan of their new dark roast. If I'm not travelling, I always ask for my coffee in a ceramic mug. See, I am a snob. I just don't like the taste of coffee from a paper cup. Tim's in Picton always obliges. The food is just fine and so are the treats! Rather addictive, they are. The staff are all local people. The owner lives in the community and it's always a good place to get together for a meeting or just enjoy. T

It was very quiet so the super friendly staff was at my full disposal. They filled my order promptly while still having time to make small talk. It was the best double/double I have had in a while. If it wasn't for their awkward location and parking lot I would definitely have given them full marks. Reserve uma mesa agora

This is a Tim Horton's that is quite busy most of the day and evening. That must be because this cup of coffee tastes exactly like all the other Tim Horton's brews across Canada!! Rrrrrooolllll up the Rim for me :)

After making the purchase in the nearby super, you are grateful to have a cappuccino coffee with ice in tim hortons, and take advantage of the free wi-fi. It's nice and fast service

used the washroom, but didnt attempt to order as the place was so crowded. Not a lot of parking. Better to park in behind the thrift store and walk around. Reserve uma mesa agora

As expected from chains, one Tim's is pretty close se to any other. This one is hard to spot in advance if traveling from the ferry.
