Tokyo Teriyaki And Hamburgers

First time here. Food is ordered through a window. My partner and I showed up excited to try a new spot in Pedro. Unfortunately no one seemed to be working the window. We saw three people working the food station. It was obvious that they could see us but they had no reaction whatsoever. We waited for a few minutes and then wondering if we were going to get help since no one acknowledged us and it was 4pm on a Sunday, asked if they were still serving customers... I come here from time to time to enjoy the Teriyaki plate for $10 however, tonight was the first time I tried one of their hamburgers. Sadly I was disappointed... so let me break it down for you. I asked for onion, they don't carry it, then I asked for pickles, they don't carry that, then ask for mustard and wouldn't you know it, they don't carry that either. I mean wth, those are basic things you put on a Hamburger. Albeit the hamburger is filling, but I wouldn't give it any more than two stars. After multiple friends told me how good the food was here. I'm so happy I gave it a shot. The burger is outstanding Classic California style with a nice char it's a true charbroiler type burger and I just had the beef and veggie bowl medium sized lots of fresh vegetables, and the beef is delicious. Everything I've had from here is really good. The french fries are standard french fries they do come hard enough to burn you : lady at the counter has always been super friendly the man cooking I'm assuming he's the owner definitely takes pride in the food he is serving it shows in the quality and flavor. 15th and Pacific is not the best corner but if you're washing your car and need some grub, this place does the job. Bring your own quarters as the machine is often down and this restaurant won't give out quarters.Food: 3/5

The street food here is absolutely delicious! However, finding parking can be quite a challenge, and you might end up with some car wash overspray. The homemade teriyaki sauce is amazing! Overall food rating: 4 out of 5.

This tasted good in 2020 3 years ago yesterday when I went it didn't taste as fresh I'll attach 2 pictures the first is from 2020 and the second is from this year the chicken and beef and rice was dry and no flavor
