Tommy's Diner - Reservar uma mesa

The restaurant was suggested by friends, so I went along not expecting gourmet cuisine, and I wasn't disappointed. However, I was disappointed by the quality of what was offered. The restaurant was absolutely packed with young families and youngsters, so they must be doing something right being opposite the cinema must help enormously. Personally I hated the faux decor of a traditional American diner, the faux outfits worn by the staff and, at the end of the day, the faux menu. We avoided the starters, and I ordered fish chips everything was overcooked, on the verge of being burnt, and very dry a tactic to make you order more drinks ? The diner looks great and has lots of seating available. It was quiet when I went.... early evening. There is a large variety of burgers on offer, shakes, puddings, cocktails etc..... It’s a ideal venue for a pre or after bite to eat when visiting the nearby cinema. The staff were attentive and friendly. I personally did not like the chips, but the have a good design as they are shaped to scoop up sauce. My steak was also of low quality. The pudding however was really good. The burgers look really good though.. wish I ordered one now.

The onion rings and a cheese burger were both nice. Good choice of sauces. Mohitos were nice and strong. Strawberry and banana milkshake was to die for. Walking into the restaurant is like stepping onto the scene of Grease good music too. If you don't wait to wait for a table, you are best booking one in advance as the place gets busy.

Got food here late in the eveming when on an overnight stay in Toulouse. The place was packed but great staff in the diner found us a seat. Good diner grub and very reasonable price would visit again.

A great place to eat with a real 50’s diner feel. Good food and very attentive service : . Halloween theme at the moment is brilliant.
