I went to this restaurant for dinner with a friend who had recommended it to me while I was in Adelaide. We were warmly greeted at the door and, although it wasn't the fanciest place, it felt cozy and welcoming. We ordered two appetizers and three main dishes. The food arrived quickly, as did our drinks. I had the chicken satay appetizer, which I found to be a bit dry as it was stuck to the skewer, but the satay sauce was tasty. My friend couldn't stop talking about the eggplant special, and even though I'm not a big eggplant fan, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff at this restaurant are very attentive and dedicated to providing a wonderful dining experience. They were able to accommodate allergies easily with all of their dishes. They even offered to split up the appetizers so we could sample different items. Every dish we tried was delicious. A must-try is their crispy eggplant, a unique and tasty dish that showcases the versatility of this vegetable (or fruit?). The green curry was flavorful and packed with fresh vegetables and generous portions of meat. This restaurant will definitely be our go-to spot for Thai food from now on.

We have visited Tongue Thai'd numerous times and decided to return for a spontaneous dinner. The service was as welcoming as always and we were seated at a cozy table in the rear dining area. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the food was delicious with authentic flavors. We always order the eggplant special, it is incredibly tasty and a must-try. Tongue Thai'd is a fantastic choice for a relaxed meal with loved ones.

Ahhh my fave place! This was the first restaurant I experienced in Adelaide 2 years ago and I cant help returning every few months. The signature eggplant dish is just incredible. They have the happiest smiliest staff going and the venue is very welcoming and comfortable.

Some great tasting Thai, best eggplant in Adelaide! Red duck curry was sensational. Not sure about best value for money though, dishes are very saucy and quite expensive for actual content but nonetheless a place we keep coming back to for the taste.
