Trafford - Reservar uma mesa

The restaurant has a wonderful, nautical feel to it with the use of the wood of the tables and around the restaurant. It is a minimalist decor that packs a punch of feeling like you are on a boat, or in nature. The lighting is subtle at night. We went on a cooler night, post summer, and their outdoor porch (that overlooks the water) was contained by a nice see through plastic. The bar is small, but suits the size of the place, and the heaters on the porch made it comfortable. The bartender was nice. There is an upstairs bar with more seating, but that was closed on the Sunday night we went. It looked really cool up there with interesting decor and lighting.

We were seated on the second floor and it was VERY noisy. (only complaint) There were a couple of large tables near us with families and kids so it could not be helped. Next time, I would review that before excepting the table. Service was good. Our server was very busy. I must say the food was EXCELLENT . I had the salmon as my main course and it was served with Green beans, sweet potatoes, citrus, olives and a boiled eggs. I shared a picture on Instagram it was so appealing.

Chef was “unable” to cook an egg so that it wasn’t runny, and just plain refused in advance to cook tuna other than rare. The shrimp cocktail was raw, presumably reflecting the same preference. We have been here many times for lunch, always pleasant, but this was a different experience.

This was our second visit to Tafford's and greatly enjoyed the new fall menu selections.....very very good and creative

Trafford now is ok. Just ok. Food, service, all= average.
