Trapeze - Reservar uma mesa

Loved this place! Great food, excellent service and nice restaurant with warm ambience. We were checked in immediately upon entering, and the waiter informed us that the table will be ready very shortly. We only waited a mere (maybe even 2 mins and the kind gentlemen apologized that the table was not ready before we got there. How nice is that?! What great service and I knew immediately that I picked the right place for taking my friends here. We ordered a variety of dishes... steak, pasta, carpaccio, seafood paella ... all tasted excellent and absolutely everyone loved the food. : : We finished the meal with espresso and cappuccino drinks that were just as good. Thumbs up and we'll be back!

The bread with its special Italian dipper is very good. Fried calamari is also better than most other restaurants I tried before. However, the lamb frames are really disappointing. Talking to the manager and finding out that they cut off the fat and leave all the hacks very slim and hard to chew for older people or one without good teeth. I will give him 2 or 3 stars for food, but because the manager removed the load from lamb as he said you don't even like it, how can I calculate you. Thus they earn a star for the excellent service and consideration.

This was such a disappointing meal. The server was unfriendly and gruff, as well as inattentive. The menu had no allergy labeling. The bread basket was crumbly, dry and bland and the dipping sauce had no flavor. It?s hard to ruin burrata but the pesto wasn?t great. The salmon was incredibly over cooked and under seasoned, and the mashed potatoes were flavorless. I could make a much better meal at home and save the $30. I would not go back and would actively recommend friends not to go here. I?m amazed that they?re still in business.

Trapeze has been in business for over 20 years. I don't often go back because all the restaurants were packed in the area and I didn't want to wait. The restaurant had good food, the service was good, but nothing about the place is remarkable or unforgettable. It's an old restaurant and it feels like that. You're not gonna be disappointed when you leave, but there's nothing that makes you get back.
