Trio - Reservar uma mesa

We had a surprise 60th Birthday party on the back patio for my mother. I planned this weeks in advance and they did not charge me to hold the venue or to utilize it. The staff helped me plan a delicious menu for our guests and literally helped every step of the way. They did not rush us out of the space and the wait staff is top notch! They were busy in the main dining room, as it was a Saturday night, but they allowed us to add more food when we ran out (as we had extra guests arrive last minute) and they were gracious the entire time. We have eaten here for YEARS, but this just made it even more special. The space was enclosed and even though it was cold outside they had heaters if we need...

I loved everything about this place....food, service, atmosphere AND pricing! It's hard to go to a restaurant that offers different food cultures and it all taste good and authentic. Welp, this is the place. I wanted everything on the menu as I looked around at other guests tables. But I went for the mashed potatoes, collard greens (yes, I know... and a grilled chicken with a sauce that I couldn't get enough of! And the collards.....OMG! I am a southern girl and know about greens. They weren't my Mama's but if I had to go for the best alternative, this is where I'd go (even before a soul food restaurant ! I thoroughly enjoyed this place.

Enjoyed it! First time there: good food and friendly staff. The almond blossom dessert was delicious. Will be coming back! Didn't give 5 stars because not sure if they are consistently good food/service. If next time is just as good all around, will update to 5 stars. :

Large total menu and a good brunch menu. The waitress had a great sense of humor and looked after us. I had the shrimps and grits that were fabulous. We finished the meal with her baked Alaska dessert... YUM.

The service and server were great! It has a great atmosphere with a diverse customer base. It's VERY cozy and they're hospitable. Love this place! We'll be back! JL
