We have been several times in this restaurant by the Danube not far from our house. The restaurant is located next to a golf range and if you manage to get a table in the fully covered balcony you an enjoy a fantastic view of the river. The food is very good. We never had any bad experience. Last time we order lamb, super tender and with amazing taste and ragout of deer also pretty good. As starter we share a good portion of liver nicely served. They have in the menu quite a few opportunities for fish, which something not that common in Austrian restaurants. The list of wines is mostly based on local white wines from the Wachau valley. Nice choice of traditional Austrian dishes that are prepared with quality and care. Service is competent, friendly, polite and efficient. Nice scenery right next to the Danube river and good parking spots. One downside. There is a smoking dining room as well that causes a slight smelly atmosphere. For smokers convenient though.

I went here with one of my oldest friends who lives not far from the restaurant. Very scenic--our table was overlooking the Danube--and the food and wine were excellent.

You will be not disappointed with the Food the serve. Service is fast and excellent.Driving time from the City Half an hour mostly Autobahn (Freeway)
