Tuxer Ferner Haus - Reservar uma mesa

We've been going to to Tux for years and I've only just got round to writing a review of Tuxerferner Haus. As others have commented there are two parts to the complex, self service and at-table service restaurant. We've have used both and they give you excellent choice: for the few Euros a head extra we now go for the at-table. Compared with other mountain restaurants, the Haus is way ahead on the quality of the food, the quantity and the price. The menu's reasonable varied. We pay typically pay 20 Euros - with drinks - per head. Service is always fast and friendly and if they are full it'll be about a 20 minutes wait for a table at the bar. We visited after doing summer skiing in August. Apre skiing.Food was good but not great. Wine and beer were very good!Views were magnificent. Great place to have lunch or drink after skiing. Also non skiers can visit here easily.Service was excellent and quick. Friendly too

Very nice restaurant with service. You can also have a drink near the fireplace which is very cosy. If it is busy, you better make a reservation. We had the caesar salad with garlic breath. Very good ! We also had the pasta with scampi which is very nice but rather creamy

This restaurant is like any other Mittelstation. They have kind a like the same traditionel food. Nothing extra. There was a restaurant beside and it did look a little more nice, but it was cloosed. We ate here at Tuxer Ferner Haus every day. - Simon

We were hungry after visiting of the Glacier so we decided to have a late lunch in self serving part of this restaurant. Service was quick, meal was average - no exceptional no bad.
