Two Sawyers - Reservar uma mesa

I’m pretty picky when it comes to pubs and so I’m pleased to say I had a very enjoyable visit to this fabulous venue, situated in one of Canterbury’s prettiest lanes, not far from the City Centre, with a beautiful beer garden out the back. Enjoyed the Timothy Taylor’s Golden Best ale on cask, served in a jug and in superb condition at just the right temperature for a warm day. The food was frankly very impressive: really chunky Ham, 2 Eggs, very tasty Chips and Salad in a large portion and cooked to perfection. All for a reasonable price given the current times and with efficient service. Recommended.

Day trip in Canterbury, looking for some honest pub food and drink. Good selection of craft beers and I had a lovely cider. Food was amazing! Hubby had gammon egg and chips, generous portion tasted great and the chips were the best I've had in a while. I had chicken supreme and it was cooked beautifully. Would highly recommend for a nice quiet lunch.

Brilliant, proper pub with great food. Staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. I’d go so far as to say it’s the best pub I’ve been in. We were there Friday 7th July 2023.

Good selection of Cask Beers and it's in the 2023 Good Beer Guide. Friendly chatty staff in the afternoon but rushed off yheir feet in the evening. A useful comfortable short walk out of the centre.

off the beaten track some and unlike to be found by someone on a day trip to canterbury, but a great little pub. real atmosphere probably partial.
