Umbruggler Alm - Reservar uma mesa

During hike in May when snow forced me back down the mountain I bumped into the Umbruggler Alm by accident what an amazing find! The owner, chef and staff made me feel welcome, and another table took me into their circle, exhibiting warm...Tyrolian hospitality. PS I’m paunchy and bald, not one of the pretty young people who always seem to get the nod. The large fire dried my wet clothes quickly, though still stayed hours soaking up the views, while enjoying a gourmet experience at very reasonable prices. All food is home-made with excellent meat, soup and dessert dishes. Around the locals started arriving, with hugs and kisses (pre-COVID) abounding as everyone seemed to know each other. The...

From the architectural side this alpine building is a well made mixture of modern design and typical tyrolean craftmenship in wood and local materials. Athmosphere inside and outside on the sunny terasse are phatastic for soul and feeling good. Beside this, you can expect kitchen, offering everything freshly made from only local products. It´s hard to give one item from the menue the pole position, because everything is perfect. Pricing ist adäquat to the high quality served. I went to Umbrüggler Alm after a short hike from Hungerburg. The food is self made mostly and delicious. The most positive aspect of my visit was the great service by Zach, who was always attentive and very friendly. Thanks for this nice afternoon!

This place is perfectly located to stop by ending your skiing/boarding day on Innsbrucks Nordkette. On the lower part of the run. Good views down into the valley, good food, good coffee and always busy. Very modern style!
