I went there with my husband for my birthday. Had read rave reviews about the restaurant so was looking forward to it. We arrived at 7.15pm the restaurant opened for dinner at 7.30pm. The staff saw us outside but made no acknowledgement, nor did they open the door to let us in. It was in November so it was cold and it was also raining. We ended up having to sit for 15mins in the cold, at the bus stop next to the restaurant. At 7.30pm sharp, we walked back to the restaurant. A charming restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. We had a wonderful meal. Although we were initially nervous about having no choice in the menu, they went out of their way to ensure that anything we couldn’t eat – seafood in my husband’s case – was substituted with something just as delicious. Staying just one night in Perigueux, this restaurant exceeded our expectations. We had the 6 course option which was preceded by two amuses bouches. Each course was delightful; fresh ingredients perfectly cooked and presented. One of the best dinners we have eaten. Welcome was warm, service excellent and a spacious dining room with good atmosphere. Full so booking recommended. Will definitely return if in the area again

A truly inventive, ambitious, and well executed fine dining experience. The chef truly has a vision for his food, and we felt a masterful balance of execution of flavors alongside playfulness, inspiration, and surprise. For someone searching for a culinary experience, this may very well be the best place in the entire region —we tried many other acclaimed spots). It is worth a trip to eat this food!

Still magic and very creative with original flavors and tastes. Probably the best restaurant in Perigueux. It’s always a great pleasure to go there.
