Uncle Ming Chinese Restaurant

I can't say much more than what has been said already. Was the food greasy? Check. Were the portions small? Check. DId I get chicken bone pieces disguised as chicken balls? Check. Was the egg roll limp and soggy? Check. Was it a tad overpriced?...Check. You want a piece of Canadiana? stop into any one of this Canadian style chinese food restaurants to get the full on don't ask don't tell quality food experience. My Exes' uncle ran one along the main highway heading to Saskatoon years ago. Nice guy. They prepare the food that way cause its quick, easy and you can make a buck. Ordered individual dinners and while the food was ok, the portion size was definitely lacking compared to other Chinese restaurants we have ordered from. I’m not a big eater and dinners from other restaurants usually makes meals for us. I don’t eat...the rice and even with his meal and my rice my husband was left hungry. We also found the egg rolls to be soggy. We have lived in Wasaga for years, never tried Uncle Ming’s but heard it was good. Much prefer the other Chinese Restaurants in town. Will definitely not be returning.

Don't expect an authentic Chinese Cuisine experience here. This is your standard Canadian/Chinese Restaurant you find in Small Towns across Canada. Lots of Soy Sauce in the dishes, especially the Fried Rice. Non-Chinese, American dishes like General Taos Chicken, Chop Suey and Chicken Chow Mein...with Crispy Cracker Noodles to name a few, are staples on the Menu. The Owners are very friendly but the dining room is dated, dirty and stale. The food was marginally better.

Place looks shabby and is pretty dirty on the inside. The food is below average. We had the dinner for three which came to little over dollar. The sweet and sour sauce had a chemical taste to it, the rice was very greasy, the...general tao chicken was deep fried and dry. It had barely any sauce on it and the sauce that was on it was just Thai sweet chili sauce. You are better off spending your money somewhere else. Reserve uma mesa agora

I've heard mixed reviews on uncle ming's! We ordered take out. The dining room is definitely not appealing but the food was amazing and the staff all so very friendly. We ordered the mushroom fried rice, general tao chicken and the chicken balls! Absolutely delicious!...They offer dine in, take out or delivery. Prices are average but would rather order again from uncle Ming's over other Chinese in the Wasaga area!

The last few times I've ordered from Uncle Mings I've found that the quality has gone down hill. The food is still good, but it always used to be exceptional. They have also become reluctant to provide quick home delivery; the last few times they...said it would take more than an hour to deliver. In a small town that is too long!

Didn't get what we ordered, paid for a dinner for which was suppose to come with general tao chicken instead we got soggy chicken tossed in sweet and sour sauce, plus the sweet and sour chicken balls. Very disappointed since i don't like sweet...and sour sauce.

Only done takeout with this location. Would recommend if you decide to eat in this place the wearing of a hard hat as the place seems to be ready to collapse, seriously. Which makes me wonder what the condition of the kitchen is??

We had ordered a very large order of food for people and we werent impressed. Everything tasted burnt and greasy. We wont waste our money here again.
