on yesterday Saturday in january with my two daughters hoping to eat. we were greeted by a nice host who told us that they did not begin to serve until pm, but if we wanted to sit and take a drink they took a look at the menu it was only half an hour away. the nice courteous waitress took our beverage order and we sat on the look for the menu of the cook who had not started working noticed that we offered the menu so to work early and our order to prep. the personal went out of the way to make sure our visit was pleasant and the service was very attentive without being in our face. eating was amazing! we are not out of the opposite and I have booked for a meal here with my family for the night before my skydive at the nearby airport. I came into contact before and we ordered before, as there were some of us. When we arrived, the friendly staff welcomed us, as there had been a great space for us through a fire. perfect! we had dogs and children with us, among them a very nervous revival dog, so that they kindly gave us our own opposite, so that the children could walk around and the dogs settled. the food came and it was absolutely delicious everyone got what they ordered and everyone was very happy with what they got. many veggie and vegan options, also. the staff was attentive and polite...

Meal out with family. Venison pie to die for. Lots of gravy. Swapped red cabbage for greens. Thank you. My wife had salmon with butterbeans which she hasn't stopped raving about. Top drawer food.

Excellent fish and chips and a decent real ale very friendly staff as well All the food that came out was fresh and piping hot.

Great service and great sausage roll. Very friendly and helpful, all round lovely pub would give 5 stars. Will be back!!
