Urbania Café Calle 8 Astorga

Urbania is a small and cozy shop where you can find specialty coffee from different origins (all of them Colombian , the atmosphere is really nice, and you can just relax and enjoy your time there with a nice cup of coffee and some pastries. The staff is very nice and friendly, and overall it is always a nice experience. On the other hand, I've found some consistency issues with their manually brewed coffee (chemex, drippers, french press... , you can have a great cup one day, and the next week order the same exact thing to find it has a completely different taste, same happens with their roasted beans, and even their bottled cold brew, which makes me think it's is a roastery problem and not...

Table I sat down at was dirty, and when I asked the waitress to clean it she never returned so after minutes I had to do it myself At the time to pay, I handed over the exact cash for the coffee but the woman said it cost more (than yesterday). Looking at the receipt she had given herself a tip after I told her not to apply one.. Coffee is good, and the man who served me yesterday,who I believe is the owner is great.

Cute, small with excellent flaky croissants. Solid coffee skills with a variety of brewing methods. Nice patio. Not great for serious meetings or a meal, but lovely to pass an hour or two in the morning or afternoon with a book or journal. It's a little too cozy to work for a long time small tables and few plugs. Oh! Unique item: waffles with yuca flour chewy wonderful!

What a great place far from the busy streets and tourists. A place to take coffee and enjoy some very good and nicely presented food. Especially the brunch is a great value for money with fresh made food and fruits.

Honestly the best place of lattes and such in Medellin. They measure each shot and pour of milk out and have incredibly consistent quality. The Mocha is by far the best mocha I've had anywhere in the world.
