Van Gogh's Ear Cafe

My daughter and I came to Van Gogh?s for a cappuccino and lunch. It was a little cleaner than 2 years ago but not much and I don?t understand why broken seats and filthy dark with dirt seats aren?t replaced and dusty fans aren?t cleaned. Even the counter where the coffee and cappuccinos are made is a bunch of junk and boxes in a glass display case and it?s just dirty. Organize it. Clean it up. Put some thing that has something to do with the restaurant in there. We gave it another shot but I will never return there again. We were greeted, told we could sit anywhere and it took a little bit to find a clean place to sit. We were having a good time just talking and hanging out and after about 1...

Dinner was moderate. Nothing great, but the pasta salad is pretty good. I realized that the Ginger-Ale I drank was poured into a dirty cup as I drank it halfway. The dirt from the bottom of the cup rose and floated very disgusting upwards. Service wasn't amazing. We waited a while to order dessert and check. I wanted to order extra desserts to take home, but I didn't feel like I was giving this place more of my money.

My wife was here a few times and always told me she liked the atmosphere and the food. Today I have the chance to experience it for me and I am really happy that we have gone. The restaurant is qorky and strange in a very good way, comfortable and clean. The food was great and everything was fresh and clean. Pumpkin curry soup, Cubano, Mac cheese with chicken for our daughter. We ate their Mac cheese.

I've gone to this place since the 90s, and while I am? You moved away from the area? still as good as I remember. Great coffee, great food, great mood.
