Veg-In YYC - Reservar mesa

We were here on Canada Day and, despite being very busy, received excellent and super-friendly service. We were given lots of information about the menu and attentive service throughout our visit. The food was excellent with a great combination of flavours and textures. My son, not vegetarian, commented that the classic burger was as good as or better than any meat patty. The rest of us enjoyed the diverse and Indian-inspired flavours of East Meets West, Millionaire, and the Samosa Enchiladas. All were thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend Veg-In for the great service and excellent vegan dishes. Look forward to going here again sometime.

This unassuming eatery was a nice surprise after a long day of international travel. My partner and I were looking for a healing meal and found this welcoming restaurant with great service fresh ingredients. Also owned by a family, mother/son. They were so nice.It's a mix of vegan and Indian with curries chutneys served with the dishes. We ordered the Jack in Bollywood which had a hearty portion with kale slaw/salad on the side. The samosas were some of the best I've ever had and the presentation with sauces was beautiful. If you are looking for casual but fresh served with care, don't pass this up.

I happened to stumble across this place when visiting from Edmonton and so happy I did. We were initially greeted by Sehra, she is so bubbly and friendly, It felt like meeting an old friend. The hospitality was top notch. Beside the welcoming atmosphere, the food was incredible. I had the enchilada and the flavour and portion size was awesome for the price. I'm sad I don't actually live in Calgary so I can eat here more often. Definitely deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you for the kind and warm welcome ?

It's tricky enough to open a restaurant that specializes in desi food. It's trickier still to make it completely vegan. And it's even more tricky to have that food actually taste good. The charming owner of Veg-In YYC manages to achieve all three of those things. This is a nice, family run place that will always make me feel comfortable.PS: If you feel overwhelmed by the options, I recommend you start with the samosas. They are delicious. Can I give this a higher rating? Please!? First of all the amazing Chef was right up front talking to everyone. Sooooo friendly and inviting. I had the Heaven on Earth and let me tell you…IT WAS!! I wanted to drink the sauce it came with. My friend had the beet it. Also 1000 times fantastic. We got to taste the cake balls too. Yesss! I wish I could take this place with me. I want to eat here every day of my life.

The service at this restaurant is absolutely incredible. Sehra really makes you feel at home and ensures you are taken care of. The food is somehow even better than the service the portions are very good for the price, and I took half my meal home for later. The cupcakes are also incredible. Will be back again next time I’m in Calgary!

Recently moved to the city from Toronto and I can easily say that the pulled jackfruit burger was probably the best vegan dish I’ve ever tried! Portions are huge, gluten-free friendly, and on top of that very caring and friendly service. Can’t wait to explore the menu some more. Easy 5 stars!

Just loved the place ...This place is a pure vegan place owned and run by mother and son..Don't go by names everything is vegan ...They both are very very friendly and foods also tastes so good ....We even tried Samson and that was really good ... Best vegan Indian food in Calgary just got the butter chicken (tofu) penne and the dill burger and it was unreal. The presentation is always amazing, such flavourful fresh food and warm service ? love this place so much

The food was one of the most delicious vegetarian dishes I ever ate. It was also so filling that I had to take the rest home. The owner was so nice and friendly and I really enjoyed it there.
