Via 47 - Reservar uma mesa

I lived in Italy for more than 6 years before moving into France. One of my rules is not to try Italian restaurants outside of Italy, because in most cases I know I will be disappointed. (I use the same logic for Mexican restaurants outside of Mexico, etc.)But I had a good comment from a friend and I decided to take the risk.Well I was NOT disappointed. This is a place where I will be back. Extremely kind service, very good food, nice ambience. We tried an excellent plate of San Daniele ham and Burrata (creamy mozzarella cheese), and then I had meat with "porcini" sauce. We also tried "penne all'arrabiata" and "cotoletta alla milanese". All very tasty !Congratulations to Via 47 !

We dropped in without a reservation on a Thursday evening expecting the place to be empty - but it was about half full. The welcome was friendly and after some fuss about all the tables being reserved, we were squeezed in. I had swordfish, my wife pasta and we finished with tiramisu. The food was the best we have eaten in the locality ever. Fresh and attractively presented with some extras like olives and bread sticks. The guy in charge looked like he know what he was doing, but I think the waiters were beginners. This place, if it maintains the standard, will be a big success.The only negative point is that the tables are too close. More space and I would rated this as a 5.

Great setting, attentive but not oppressive staff. Good choice on the menu and great food. We stayed much later than we thought, the ambiance is good.

Aways very pleasant italian atmosphere. Very good italian food with specialties. Very often crowded, better to make a reservation

Excellent Italian: you have to reserve cause it is a well known place. Good wine and friendly service. Walking distance.
