Vicino Italiano - Reservar uma mesa

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner outside for Labor Day with a friend and recommend Vicino Restaurante. At first I wasn't sure, but then... This is the kind of place where you really fill in good Italian cuisine and bring home some remains... and you order a beautiful bottle of wine and have coffee or cappuccino and tartufo or spumoni or tiramisu for dessert and you do not then go out the door with empty bags because you spend so much money to get satiated... You get more than what you pay here... or at least it feels safe like it with its generous portions... You could probably beat up in some Italian music outside the ambience out there to clear a few street noises... It's in the middle of down...

I enjoyed this place very much. We were looking for a quarter of Italian restaurant and this fits perfectly. Not nice, but nice. Service was excellent, Chianti was bright, antipasto tablet delicious. We also fried Calamari. It was slightly baked and nicely roasted, not too hard on bread or too crisp on the frit, which often happens. I slept with mussels in white sauce and it was delicious, great depth of taste, spiced very well and excellent pasta. Very pleased to find this place not too far from home and will definitely return to try more of the menu.

I ordered takeout: Auberginenparmigiana, Alfredo and Calamari. Guys! The food was sooooo good. While waiting for the take-out, they offered us a delicious hot snack and water. I was blown away how really nice they were. The Calamari was perfectly seasoned and very delicate. The part was great for the price. Worth the money. The Auberginenparmigiana was well seasoned and came with large slices of eggplants. They use the beautiful flat spaghetti noodles instead of the round ones. Hold them on the sauce. What a great place!

I can't recommend this little jewel of a restaurant enough. My family and I have been going for years since I was a little girl. They are always so friendly, generous and efficient with their service. And the food is amazing and affordable, especially its fried zucchini! If you want great food served by great people, this is the place to go.

This place may not look like much but the food and service are great! My friend and I went there for dinner yesterday. The food has an authentic taste everything was delicious! Love this place.
