After having had a good experience dining in the hotel's restaurant last year, but the service back then was rather marginal, we thought we'd give the restaurant a second chance, also because of the many other good reviews. To anticipate the result: We left after 15 minutes of waiting and trying to contact the staff. And before the hotel answers again that there can be waiting times at peak times: No, it wasn't very busy, instead the two waiters only looked after the hotel guests, who had arrived a few minutes after us, but for that but the ordered drinks were already on the table before we left after waiting 10 minutes to at least ask for the food and drink menu. On our way back from Croatia we stopped at the Hotel Victoria for a few more days. We were upgraded to the family suite. The rooms are large and have their own small sauna. The small blemishes on the walls could be corrected and the red, thin curtains on the windows (room was on the ground floor by the pool) could be improved by opaque, thicker curtains. The parents ' bed was very high and the mattresses were much too soft for our taste. The dinner was very good and the waiter in the dining room was commendable (we had food as part of the half board). Small wishes for the children were of course implemented. Wir (Meine Frau, ich und zwei Kinder 1,6) waren vom 24.6-01.07 im Hotel Victoria und es war seit vielen Jahren wieder ein Urlaub, der den Namen Urlaub auch verdient hat. Begrüßt wurden wir mit einen gratis upgrade vom Familienzimmer auf die Familien Suite. Ein super schönes, geräumiges Zimmer, mit extra Schlafzimmer, direkter Zugang zum Pool und da das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss liegt, konnte man mit dem Auto am Balkon parken und bequem be- und entladen. Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Hotel, sowie im Hoteleigenem Restaurant war super lecker und ausreichend.
