on holiday in the hte savoie, the tradition is to enjoy the nets of perches, local speciality of the lakes of Savoie. After a study of restaurants we choose the old door for its location and map, the holiday checks are accepted. the reception, service and dishes, menu, menu and menu are perfect, the rates remain correct even if they are not at all reach. quiet shaded terrace with lake view, brief, address to remember very good quality/service/price ratio.To pair with city visit and a swim in Lake Geneva on nearby sites.
I have to say we're a little disappointed. The nets of perches were good but very small for my son and I (perches and fries). We stayed on our hunger. To the gardens of Leman much more copied for almost the same price. Beef without taste and not tender at all. Hard to chew and small amount. Same for the pig roast. We expected better.
We went family for a birthday. Everything was perfect! The waitresses are very attentive, the restaurant is in a historical setting that comes out of the ordinary, the view of the lake is beautiful. The meals are hearty and good. The birthday cake was very good. We highly recommend.
