Vietnamese Bistro - Reservar uma mesa

I've walked past the Vietmanese Bistro over the past few years wondering what the food was like as it never seems busy, and by that I mean completely empty. My wife and I popped in for a bite to eat a few Friday evenings ago and all I can say is, this place should be busy! The food was delicious, delicate, fragrant and plentiful. On the whole, Redcliffe struggles on the cusine front but I have to say that this place is an absolute gem. The only thing I can think of for it's lack of custom is it's position i.e. not on the front strip. Next time you are looking to eat in Redcliffe, please do give this place a try. It puts most on the strip to shame tbh.

Visited on a Monday night. One woman running the entire restaurant including the kitchen which effectively meant terrible service and terrible food. The only sound breaking the awful silence was the constant buzz of the microwave out back. My partner and I both ordered a beef pho and I received a bland vegetable type soup for reasons I don't know . My partner ordered and received his beef pho which would have been better off as a bowl of my vegetable soup because the meat was disgusting and there wasn't a fresh herb or slice of chilli in sight. Even with a lack of Vietnamese restaurants in Redcliffe you should hold off and not visit this "bistro".

Having lived in Asia for a long time, when I had the pho it reminded me of the pho in Vietnam. Whether it's wishful thinking or a real memory - whatever it is I'm going back. Living locally I've been looking for a place where I can eat regularly. This place ticks all the boxes - very fresh, authentic Vietnamese tastes and excellent pricing (a must for regular eating out). The service is good, the setting pleasant and the background music charming. It's tucked behind the main eating strip in Redcliffe so do yourself a favour, check it out and enjoy a very good meal.

We are lucky enough to live within walking distance to 'our Vietnamese'. Both our family and friends ..along with my husband and myself, enjoy a visit...more like having friends over for dinner (but a lot cheaper). Since 'our discovery' friends and family alike have wanted to go back there (i think some only come to visit us on the premise of a meal there). Just Love It.

The food at this restaurant is always delicious and the service is very friendly. It feels very authentic and is the best Vietnamese food I have ever had outside of Vietnam, and even better than some I had there. I will definitely be coming back again and again, 10/10.
