Villa Maya - Reservar uma mesa

Visited here mid-day on a Sunday afternoon and had a pretty decent experience. I wasn't looking for a franchise/chain restaurant so this location fit the bill. The menu has lots of options. I was on the fence between a seafood entre and tacos, but ended up getting a combo choice of 3 platter with two tacos and a chicken enchilada. I got the mango frozen margarita, Tamal de Elote for an appetizer, and the sopapillas for desert. (Though I wish the sopspillas came with caramel and powdered sugar). The food, portion sizes, and drinks were amazing. The service could be a bit better but I'll definitely make this one of my go-to restaurants when I'm in the mood for Tex Mex cuisine.

The restaurant offers generous portions at reasonable prices, making it great for families. Most of the entrees are easily shareable. There’s also a nice outdoor seating area. The fajitas are a highlight of the menu, along with the house-made guacamole. However, I was a bit disappointed with the margarita; it wasn’t as strong as I had hoped.

I ordered the steak fajita. Lots of food available. I called and made a reservation at 5:30pm and it wasn't too busy, just waited 5 minutes. The food was really good. I would recommend the staff to make some spicy hot sauce. The tomatillo sauce was really good though, hardly spicy.

The owner is awesome! Even helps out with staff, patrons and kitchen. He always makes sure everyone is satisfied and all their entrees are up to par. Definitely got to give it a try if you haven't been here.
