UPDATE: I finally received an email response from someone named Nair (whose credentials were not shared with me), but it was just an apology, nothing more. For the cost of the açaí bowl, I would expect some type of compensation to have been offered.Save yourself the trouble; don't waste your time at this Vitality Bowls location. We needed some vegetables and went for the salads and a smoothie. It's not difficult to make a delicious salad, and yet both salads committed several egregious sins. The kale was curly leaf and unaltered in any way- not massaged, nothing. Just a hugepile of kale with stems. The tiny dressing was broken (unemulsified, possibly frozen), with a layer of congealed oil on top ofstraight vinegar. It was the same with the spinach salad dressing. Very low effort. Plenty of greens, which saved them a star.The smoothie also lacked flavor, body, and it seemed even some of the ingredients listed. Also, at first sip seemed icey. A $10smoothie should not have ice.
Amazing food, great customer service, and spot-on safety measures. I went recently and ordered a large bowl in two, since a friend and I wanted to share but recognized that splitting the bowl ourselves might be risky. When we got our order, the orderwas in one large bowl. We went back, told them what happened, and they told us they'd make us another bowl rather than take theexisting bag back to their workstation. Safety? Check. Customer Service? Check. To top it all off, the food was absolutelydelicious and so filling. Can't appreciate them enough!
