Vlet in der Speicherstadt

We had dinner at Vlet during our Hamburg trip since a friend recommended this restaurant to us. When I made the reservation online, I was not informed that either all 9 of us had to order 4 course menu or we had to order from a smaller menu which only has 3 main dishes. So I was quite disappointed since I would like to try something else which I could not be able to order at all. Since there were not many choices on the smaller menu, all 9 of us made our decisions quickly. The small starters looked very appealing but tasted just ok. Some friends had salad and they claimed it was delicious. I had ordered salmon as main dish. Mine tasted quite ok but honestly I expected more, might be some ing...

we came here on recommendation and it was worth it. eating is excellent, good choice and also something extraordinary. local, North German courts. I had a fish dish that was very good.Service very friendly and attentive, and there was also a surprise. I had on the day birthday and after eating I got a dessert birthday cake with a candle on it. no idea where they knew my birthday, maybe I had said it at the reservation. in any case, I found this very nice and attentive.

we stayed in this restaurant in August 2018. the staff was courteous and friendly. the place is very nice but the tables behind suffer a little malodours. the kitchen is gourmet therefore very imaginative and with small portions. if you love the genre is not bad.

This beautiful restaurant in the area of speicherstadt offers modern dishes of the Hamburg tradition. the view of the windows is definitely characteristic. I highly recommend sweets!

Well prepared food without surprises. Good service. Very understated restaurant room bordering on gloomy. Upmarket ambitions not completely fulfilled. Average value for Money.
