Would have given a better rating but, the fish fry was not worth the price. We ended up here because our friend invited us to the Hacienda Beer House across the street. But, they had a 45 minute wait. There was no wait for a table here. It is a true German themed pub with a great selection of both European and American craft beers, prices range froom $5 on up for draft beer. The $15 fish fry (3 piece) $17 (four piece) was way too battered arguably more bread than fish or at least an equal amount. If you put a stick on it, a piece of fish would resemble corn dog! First time here, and it got off to a rocky start with very few tables and first come first serve policy as well as a massive private party that impacted food coming out slowly. However, the food was amazing, can’t say enough good things about the fried asparagus. The German beer selection is top tier, great atmosphere, and a cool space. We will be back for sure.

Old German bar with descent beer selection and good German fare. Inside very cool with old murals and stained glass. Only gripe is the music....sounds like jukebox choices and totally does not fit with the strong German vibe and history. Prices ok. The Schweinhaxen (German pork shank) is very tender and falls off the bone. Wunderbar!
